Gary E. Eggleston, MD, FAAFP
Gary Eggleston, M.D. is a Chautauqua County native. He graduated from Ripley Central School then attended Houghton College, where he earned a B.A. in biology. He received his M.D. degree from S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo Medical School. In 1981 he completed a three-year Family Practice residency at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. After an additional year of emergency room experience, he returned to Chautauqua County to practice medicine.
Dr. Eggleston and his wife live in Westfield and have four sons. He enjoys fishing, hunting, tennis, golf, and basketball. He is active in his church where he currently serves as a deacon. He has done short-term medical mission trips to Togo, Ecuador, Alaska, and the Dominican Republic.

Timothy A. Gorman, MD, FAAFP
Timothy Gorman, M.D. joined Westfield Family Physicians in 1987. He graduated summa cum laude from Taylor University with a degree in Biology and Systems Analysis. He received his M.D. degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, followed by a three-year Family Practice residency at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Dr. and Mrs. Gorman have five children and make their home in Westfield. In his leisure time he enjoys running, bike riding, reading, and spending time with his wife and children. He is an active member of his church. He has done short-term medical missions trips to Zambia, Bangladesh, and Ecuador.

Timothy M. Kitchen, MD, FAAFP
Timothy Kitchen, M.D. joined Westfield Family Physicians in September, 1993. He graduated summa cum laude from Houghton College in 1986. He attended medical school at S.U.N.Y. Health Science Center in Syracuse, NY, and graduated Alpha Omega Alpha in 1990. He completed his Family Practice residency in 1993 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Kitchen has received numerous honors in recognition of his scholarship and achievements.
Dr. Kitchen enjoys cycling, cross-country skiing, canoeing and woodworking. He, his wife and their five children enjoy living in Westfield and fully integrating into the life of their church and community.

Lorie A. Lashbrook, MD
Lorie A. Lashbrook, M.D. joined Westfield Family Physicians in October, 2004. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1997 and completed her Family Practice Residency at Naval Hospital Pensacola, Florida in 2000. She came to Westfield from Meridian, Mississippi where she was a U.S. Navy Senior Medical Officer and Family Physician.
Dr. Lashbrook is married and has two children. She enjoys the outdoors and camping.

Matthew D. Wehr, MD
Matthew D. Wehr, MD joined Westfield Family Physicians in August 2008. He is board certified in Family Medicine and came to this area from New Paris, PA. Dr Wehr graduated from Pennsylvania University College of Medicine and completed residency at Conemaugh Memorial Medical in Johnstown, PA.
Dr Wehr and his family live in Westfield, NY. Dr. Wehr and his wife have one child. They enjoy fishing, hunting and stamp collecting.

Susan Murawski, FNP
Susan Murawski, F.N.P. comes to Westfield Family Physicians with a rich background in medical care and human services. Her commitment to people and their quality of life is evident in her experience as a former elementary school teacher and VISTA volunteer.
Ms. Murawski entered the healthcare profession in 1983 when she received her LPN certification. Continuing her education, she graduated magna cum laude from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, Edinboro, PA, with her B.S. in Nursing. In 1994, she received her Masters Degree in Nursing with honors from the University of Pittsburgh and became a Nurse Practitioner. She is certified by the American Nurses' Credentialing Center as Family Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner,
and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner; and by the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Urologic Practice.
Sue lives outside of North East, Pennsylvania with her husband Tim Lyons. They enjoy hiking, biking, and bird watching.

Natalie N. Pierce, RPA-C
Natalie Pierce is a registered Physician Assistant working in our office in Sherman, NY. Natalie graduated from Jamestown Community College with a major in Math and Sciences. She then graduated cum laude from D'Youville College in the Physician Assistant Program. After her graduation, she worked with an internal medicine practice in Buffalo, NY. She has been part of our practice since February 2001.
Natalie and her husband have two daughters and one son. She lives in the Falconer area which is where she and her husband grew up.

Sarah Cook, RPA-C
Sarah Cook is a registered Physician Assistant who joined our Westfield staff in October 2007. She graduated from Houghton College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. In 2007, Sarah graduated summa cum laude with a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Married in 2004, Sarah and her husband Tim enjoy many activities together including hunting, fishing, and hiking. The have two sons. They are actively involved in their church youth program and worship team.

Susan A. Mackowiak, ANP, WHNP-C
Susan Mackowiak, joined WFP in March 2011. She graduated from Erie Community College as a Registered Nurse in 1987 and began her nursing career at Buffalo General Hospital before moving to Dunkirk in 1997. She also worked at Westfield Memorial Hospital and Brooks Memorial Hospital as an RN in the maternity unit. She later went on to complete her Baccalaureate degree at the University of Buffalo, School of Nursing and continued with her graduate studies to obtain her Masters in Nursing as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, in 2006. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Buffalo. She returned to expand her practice focus, by obtaining a Post Master’s certificate as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in 2010, from Daemen College. She is certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation. Susan has a strong passion for women’s health.
Susan and her husband Rick live in Dunkirk with their children. They enjoy snowmobiling and attending NASCAR races during the regular season.

Donald Brautigam, M.D. established Westfield Family Physicians in 1979. Prior to that, he was a Major in the U.S. Army. He completed a three-year Family Practice residency at Fort Benning, Georgia, and served two additional years as Chief of a Family Practice group at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. His medical degree is from Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, New York, and he received a B.A. in chemistry from Houghton.
Dr. Brautigam's non-medical interests include gardening, fishing, hunting, and reading. He is active in his church where he serves on the Board of Elders and teaches Sunday school. The Brautigam family lives in Westfield. He and his wife have traveled to Kenya and Alaska on short-term medical missions.
