As a practical expression of their Christian faith, individual doctors from Westfield Family Physicians
will occasionally go on sabbaticals for periods of up to three months while they volunteer their services
at mission hospitals around the world. To date, the doctors and their families have provided volunteer
medical care to the people of India, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Togo, Tanzania, Jamaica, the Dominican 
Republic, Ecuador, Costa Rica, India, Bangladesh, and Micronesia, as well as to the isolated
native populations of Alaska.
